How do i change my oil?

get all your stuff together like a drain pan, a rag, a wrench to take the drain plug out and a oil filter wrench. jack up your car, slide the pan under the car, take out the drain plug and let it drain, after it stop draining put the plug back in and tighten it. now take off the filter( make sure the rubber seal comes off with the old filter) if you can fill the filter up with oil and put some oil on the gasket of the new filter, run the new filter up on and hand tighten the filter only, after the filter contacts the engine give it another 3/4 turn more, let the car back down, fill it with about 3 or 4 quarts, start your car and let it idle, check for leaks, if no leaks then shut it down, let the oil settle in the pan and check it, fill it up to the full mark. put your old oil in something like a milk jug and take it to auto zone to be recycled, clean out the pan and your good to go.
