My Dell Laptop makes a chime noise when going from page to page on the internet.?

I have a dell d660. I am not sure how the settings got changed to make a chime noise when going from one internet page to another, but it is annoying. Anyone have a fix? I have been in control panel and looked all around but can't seem to find where to change it.
