Totally fun social studies project.?

i found a bunch of old letters in my grandmas house. i am going to use them for my social studies project. i have spent days looking for information on my great great grandfather but i got NOTHING. how can I do a good project with just letters postcards and war drafting cards? There are no limits on this project just to let u kno.
