I JUST KILLED A SPIDER.......NOW I FEEL SO BAD!?

i am absolutely petrified of spiders...like stupidly scared. this mahusive spider was walking through my living room floor last night and i just screamed and stood on the couch. i saw it again this morning and it wouldnt go away so i through loadsa stuff on top of it and now i feel terrible. what shall i think to make myself not feel so bad?
